I discovered them when I belonged to BMG Classical Music Service in the 80's or 90's (who can remember?) I love them so much! This is one of my favorites by them, too.
Dan the Man in Austan (really Austin, but I like it to rhyme...)
@chrisp0315 Alas, no. It was what we call in France " un chanteur de variété ". I first heard this song played and sung on an LP by a french lutenist (who played mostly like a guitar player ...) some 40 years ago (collection "Le chant du monde"). And a very good variety singerin in France sings it again this year among song from french Brittany. What we call "Bretagne".
I take it the photo reflects the current lineup, but in this recording, the flute is played by Chris Norman, not Mindy Rosenfeld, and the soprano is Custer La Rue, not Danielle Svovanec.
c'est très beau waawwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very good song, and sound! Your pronunciation is good.
Oh, by the way, no need of a " ^ " on the word "vu" in French.
"J'ai vu le loup" is enough.
Best regards from France.

Is anyone in the Fredericksburg area looking for a good singer to perform or just have fun with this sort of music?

@C6H12B26 Was it The Baltimore Consort's version that was no. 1? Just curious.
