Well, it's over. A week has passed since Senator Barack Obama clinched the nomination and, in effect, became the first African-American to become the nominee of a major political party. History was made that night, but another branch has grown and bloomed throughout this race. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (I probably misspelled the middle name) also made a great deal of history. Despite her campaign strategy and the bitter emotions that both campaigns have stirred, we must acknowledge the fact that Hillary broke a huge glass ceiling: she has effectively paved the way for ANY woman to make the bid for president. She may not have won the nomination, but her tenaciousness and fighting will has helped to, pardon me Obama, write a new chapter in American History.

This magnanimous event may not make it into the history books, but for the roughly 18 million Hillary Supporters who diligently threw their support behind her, this is a year that will stay with them throughout the remainder of their lives. And this Obama supporter couldn't have asked for a better Candidate. While I admittedly despised Hillary initially because of the tactics she used, I quickly learned that this is standard issue in politics. Also, I'd actually like to thank you for the way your campaign has conducted itself. You've essentially given Obama a preview of what is to come. Also, as Obama himself has said, you have helped him become a much more powerful candidate than he ever could've dreamed of. For that, I thank you.

With that, I'd like to congratulate Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton on one of the most energized political races of our time. May God's blessings be with you.
