  • The 2001 Honda Odyssey's Cabin Filter design and placement was POORLY executed.

I changed mine today @ 25k miles. (Yes it has low miles)

Mine had the SAME set-up as your Odyssey and I HAD to cut off that crappy ass plastic bar.

Took more than an hour or so to get the job done.

I never changed the air filter and it was CLEANER than the cabin filter yet it is much more difficult to get to.

For a filter that needs to be changed every 15-25k miles, this design (back then) is poorly executed.

  • part 1 n 2? seriously? u missed how to pull it out your vid just jumped to "hey it's alreaady out and here we just put the new one? common make a vid or dont make one at all.

  • In my manual says check with your Honda dealer to replace filter cabin. What year is your car ?

  • @irsan5777 well than i dont know what to tell ya you might need to cut it but on mine i did what that guy did in the video and it worked just fine... did you check your owners manual?

  • @blowupuate13 : mine is Honda Odyssey 2001 same as with this model, it has plastic that maybe need to cut off like they showed or any idea ?

  • @irsan5777 /watch?v=QpV-xzZcZ1k&feature=related

try this and also look in your owners manual...

you shouldn't have to cut anything that's ridiculous!!!

  • @blowupuate13 : how if i dont want to cut it ?? any videos ?? pls help...

  • wow... you didn't have to cut anything! all you had to do is release the tabs on the inside of your glove box and it will release so you can access the cabin filter!

  • Good job! Thanks.

  • you just installed it upside down...the tab should be on the bottom.

    Thanks for the video.
