Bodacious is the second horse in our program (selecting and developing US bred Dutch warmbloods), and he has not disappointed. We looked all over the country for seven months before finally deciding on this 2006 Gelding out of Rhodium by Roemer. He first attracted us because of his looks, size and conformation. When I visited the breeders, Suzy and Judy Reggio at Windy Ridge Farm, I had my mind made up in ten minutes. His movement is awesome, and he is one of the sweetest and smartest horses we have been around. Bodacious comes from some of the best dressage and jumping bloodlines the Dutch breed has to offer, and he will excel at either. He picks up everything in one tryliterally, we are running out of things to do with him while we wait for him to be old enough to back. He bathes, loads, clips, farrier, free jumps everything! And he follows me around on walks like a happy lab pup. Like the other horses in our program, he has passed a thorough vet exam (August 2008) and is approved for training up to Grand Prix level. This horse is not only an elite athlete, he is also one you will truly love to be around. Video is available on YouTube. Search for Bodacious/Rhodium.

  • Wow! This horse is exactly like the horse at my barn, his name is also Bodacious, except mine is a bright bay with four stockings, and a lot taller! But great job with him!!!

  • How did you get him to be so calm? I own a 2 year old arabian that is always so spocky and energetic, but she is sooooooooo sweet and she lets me put the saddle on her and lunge her with it, and jump. But she bucks when i ask her to canter, and when I ask her to trot she usually tries to canter, and doesn't want to stop! What is your secret?

  • Very nice horse. Good luck:)
