The Avett Brothers, Murder in the City Cover

After falling in love with this song, I learned it last night and played it on my Alvarez 5022, mic'd up to a Stagg 60 AAR acoustic amplifier. Hope you enjoy.

I plugged in my microphone to the amp, then using the XLR output I plugged in the amplifier to my computer via a XLR to 1/8" converter (I know this isn't the best method but it's all I had).

Then I just played normally with the mic a couple feet away.

I am very satisfied with the amp, I think it'd be perfect for gigs in medium sized areas/cafes. I've never turned it up very loud though, I've never had a need to. For acoustic stuff, this amp is great.

the sound is record from the speaker or from the amp´s XLR output? I'm interesting in this amp, and i find that the sound is great. Are you satisfied with it? Is the maximum volume before distort good for a gig in a middle size cafe? Greetings from Barcelona!
