  • @SwGkentuckyC thks. for the additional explanation. That was fun time...it was my second year into the magic and mysteries of ceramics...I wanted to experiment with everything!!! Now I'm into my tenth year in Ceramics, and the magic and experimentations still continue on!!!!

  • @AuldCrazyEyes That is a process called Raku, you take the pieces out while they are roughly 1800-1900 degrees give or take based on your glaze. They are put into a barrel with paper or saw dust (basicly anything that can combust) and the fire takes away the oxygen in the barrel and puts it into reduction which affects the colors
