iPod Touch Screen Flickering / Distortion problem

A problem with my 1 month old iPod Touch. The screen flickers and distorts continually.

Returned it to Apple and they sent me a brand new one.

Mine has been doing the same thing for the past hour and I have tried the "press and hold sleep/power button" and nothing has worked:/ any help?

@sammigal12345 Is it still under warranty? I couldn't find a fix and Apple replaced it for free as it was still under warranty

help!! i just bought ny itouch 4days ago, and i upgraded it to OS 3.1.3 right away i was successful and even used it the whole day, when i adjust the brightness suddenly it turned blur and has scan lines , flickering thing.. what should i do?

When this happened mine, I returned it to Apple and they sent my a brand new replacement that I never had any further problems with. I suggest you do the same or take it into an Apple store.

mine does it too but really badly that i can't even see the screen

Mine is 4 months old, and just started doing it. Do i need a receipt to send it back to Apple?

mine has the same problem but mine doesnt have warranty :/ i bought mine on craigslist 2 days ago i think its because the lcd cable may be loose or something idk

My iPod overheats and flickers then dies when the battery is full and I've been using it for only 10 minutes or sometimes less. I've had ythe iPod for only a couple months. Maybe I'll just send it back, but I would rather keep it and then fix it if possible. Any help?
