@HMFTG .......another example of government run hysteria was Nazi Germany. Instead of targeting pedophiles, Hitler chose to vilify the Jews living in Europe.

Jews were rounded up and sent to "resettlement camps" (kind of like pedophiles being grouped together and forced to live under bridges). Today, we call Hitler's work "a crime against humanity", but how many Americans would protest if a large number of pedophiles were shot or gassed?
