Im a black belt and have been doing shorin ryu for 12 years ( im only 17), his stances could be deeper and he could through his moves a little harder. And this isnt ananku, or at least not the way we do it in my dojo

@CaPnBaLlBaG My Anaku looks different than this one too but it is the core techniques that stay pretty much the same. I'm currently studying Kempo and it is very different from the Shorin Ryu I learned years ago. I really enjoy seeing the differences between the different styles.

You can read about Shihan Jerry Hobbs at the dentokanhombu site under "Hobbs". The kata is done very slowly since it is for educational purposes. Speed in itself is not hard, it is the perfection of each technique that is the hard part.

I practice Mantis Kung Fu and even we do our forms at half speed in practice. Its about perfection of your technique not speed. Speed is for demos and fights. In practice proper techniques is all that matters and he didn't miss a step.
