...And why is that every time I see a linux video, they only show off the icandy? How about the functionality? Don't get me wrong, I'm a Linux Ubuntu 8.10 user. But it just makes us look like little 5 year olds playing with little desktop effects. Show something that actually matters, like how Windows 7 has live thumbnail previews and "Aero Snap". Those are minor but useful features. Show something like that :)

@nagamanesh Why does that matter? He's right, you know. You could just hook up the video output on the computer to something, and use that to record it. I honestly don't have a clue what is happening in this video. Alternately, you could set this up in a VM. THAT is how you capture the booting of an operating system.

I agree abt recording from external device. The external device I used is phone camera...which ofcourse didn't give good output and my webcam of my desktop in '08 is worst than the 3.2MP phone camera. So didn't try.
Didn't thk abt VBox/VM at that time. There are few videos I created later.
