Rupert Brooke

"Eternal Poetry" were two events inspired by the "Spirituality in Arts" group of Greece. Both events were held in January 2011, one in Athens and one in Budapest, Hungary.
The aim of the events were to show the ideas, ideals and values of the relevant poets, how they dealt with their personal crises and used poetry as an expression of their deepest insights, their frustrations and hopes. In Athens the poets were Angelos Sikilanos, Myrtiotissa and Rupert Brooke. In Budapest the poets were Ference Bekassy, Margit Kafka and Rupert Brooke.
In this video of Rupert Brooke's poetry,which was presented at the Athens event, the guitar music was especially composed for the poems.
Both events were organized by Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University of Athens and Budapest, "Kitharis" Cultural Organization and the National Museum of Literature, Budapest.

I happened upon this by chance. Perhaps curious and drawn by the exquisite face and beautiful eyes. But never expected such a wonderful experience. Bitter/Sweet. A reminder of how terrible war is and what talent & beautiful souls lost. But he lives transporting my spirit during these moments. Thank you. Enchanting voices.
