Filming "R/C Boat Attack Goes Wrong" involved an afternoon of shooting high-speed (240fps) footage of two bottle-rocket calamities on board our scratch-built destroyer "702."

That footage was then edited into a (hopefully) entertaining short story, with sound inserted from other cameras that were rolling at the time.

Because we know some of our followers can't get enough explosions, the following is the first of those calamities from start to finish, un-cut and un-edited, and also without added sound FX. Enjoy!

Shot with a Casio Exilim FC-150 at 240 frames per second.

  • i don't fid it funny that their money was put into the destroyer that then exploded.I liked the story line though they need to make anther vid abot that it was really good

  • @robloxTVification The destroyer wasn't really harmed at all; just some scorched paint. And the high-speed explosion footage was, we think, so worth it. :) Thanks for watching! We'll have more videos coming up in the coming season!

  • Well that must have been devestating

  • @bnsf5624illinois Didn't do as much damage as you might expect.

  • can you show us how to convert a modle kit in to an rc

  • @lyman2129 We've decided not to make a how-to video for this one because it could get people hurt pretty easily. We are, though, making how-to vids for our Aircraft Carrier and Submarine models.

  • I love your vids like and subbed :)

  • @Rapidnadion I didn't mean like the this is bad meaning damage wise. I meant it must have been what you didn't expect. in the bad kind of way.

  • @bikingisfun169 We haven't made any proper torpedoes yet. We'd sure like to, though.

  • what do you use for explosive underwater torpedos?
