i cant wait to play this this christmas :) but for all you people saying you can play faster? WHO CARES?! if you play the song to fast then you lose its dramaticness :(

I'm in Sixth grade and playing this. Snares are way faster (and better) and we even play it faster. I play the timpani.

Seeing all these comments is bumming me out... We almost did this for district, but it was cancelled. I played the marimba.

trumpets played the rhythm at 37 incorrectly. held the ties too long. but they made it fit he phrasing. i'm not trying to criticize. i'm a band teacher too. i have my jr. high playing this peice. :-)

We're playing thsi (8th grade) and it sounds a lot better. Ya'll basically played the same dynamics the whole time and the percussion were trying to drown yall out. The sax player was over beat by the clarinets and flutes....... I hate to see songs chopped up like this.... I should know. I conduct this song

ok it slows down at :25, when the low brass enters. plus the winds can play their eigth notes fast enought
