America's Oil Industry Vs Biofuels-Alternative Algae-oil

Government in America is divded over the climate change issue. President Obama has indicated that he won't be attending the Copenhagen Climate Conference in December 2009 unless a workable agreement can be established.
The oil industry in America won't accept any part of climate change,many in the industry simply say that the sun is the cause of climate change. A new fuel derived from algae is being developed in California which could supply the U.S. with future oil and fuel supplies.

biofuels burn just as mutch oxygen per unit of energy there is no reason not to use all sources inlcuding petroleum oil. if oil is so bad then it should be used up. along with all the nat gas which is 24 times worse than the purported damage co2 does not do. can't have it both ways . if greenhouse gasses are bad then using methane is the best option, recapturing the co2 from it's combustion to use algae. all vehicles then would have co2 capture devices on them . perpetual motion in action.
