a short video of my thoughts on the god hypothesis to show that it does not explain anything. its more of a terminator of the seek for knowlegde than an aid in the process

  • Dude no way you have an accent like that :O I need to get rid of this preconcieved bias about ethnicity and accents :D Its a perfect "radio style" voice :)

  • @TurboDally heheeh lol thanks mate, even i am not sure why i got this accent, i was raised here in UK and yet i got a weird american accent lol :D i do watch alot of american TV and movies lol :D maybe thats why

  • The debate you two are having over whether Islam or Atheism is right or wrong is far-fetched. Chances are, no one religion has it right, but neither does science. Science has altered throughout the years so much, it's hard to know what the facts are at all. Religion isn't necessarily true, but the fact that there is a God could be. It hasn't been disproven, so it could be as true as any science in my eyes.

  • athesim is not a religion, and yes science does change thats the beauty of it, it seeks the truth, if previously wrong then it must be corrected unlike idiotic supersitious religions who dont really give a shit about the truth and equery

"Chances are, no one religion has it right, but neither does science"

Whenever religion has conflicted with science, religion has been proven to be spectacularly wrong in every single case. Do the research for yourself if you don't believe me - start with the Church versus Galileo.

  • well said mate, i completely agree :D

  • I am pretty sure I have heard quotes from the Qur'an that state if you break Islamic laws you can be tortured and in some cases put to death. That not believing Mohammad's teachings or doubt his word you can also be put to death. That doesn't seem very open minded to me. I'm not saying That it doesn't have great teachings , but I wouldn't call it open minded either.

  • repka, you are dumb.

I do research with nanowires and it's pretty easy to see our field advancing by leaps every year.

Science is an empirical system of knowledge that is a self correcting and falsifiable, thus, necessarily always improving (what you erroneously think of as hard to know what the facts are) whether by showing a previous hypothesis was incorrect or elevating a new one to the status of a theory all through experiment and observation.

So don't spout your silly ignorant crap

  • @CaneFu Tell me the probability that we actually exist.

  • the dude is right. point!

for the religious ones : stay on your knees and pray.

for the scientific ones: keep on searching and know.

For my point I prefer " to burn in hell" for eternity and do what i wanna do as my life goes along Than have to say " I've been fucked when some one will turn the light off.

    amen.

  • Religion is for seekers of truth. Science is a methodology for seeking truth. In both R and S, we find followers, those who follow seekers. Some follow seekers to learn seeking, some to find what has been found.

  • well this beaner thinks his ignorance has greatly understood it all. The university of beaner, I have a question for you beaner? Do you understand that evolution was guided process and not jst a random occurance? Einstien was smarter then you Mr.Beaner, "God does not play dice with the universe" Beaner, do you think that time travel is possible? La cocha rocha, la cocha rocha, university of beaner.

  • I personally disagree with "God Theory", as in an all powerful being. I know there are other Entitie's, in the Multiverse, that are highly intelligent, and highly advanced, on the path of Progression, and Ascension to the next level, just like us.

I am very Scientific, and Analytical, in nature, but I do realize that Science, is limited in it's understanding of the bigger picture. In time, as we learn and progress, our comprehension, perception, and understanding, will evolve to the next level.

  • If I wanted to hear everything you said I'd just watch the video again. Atheists tend to repeat themselves, just in flashier words I find. Kudos
