In Sweden there is a myth or fact (not sure) that Pasta Carbonara means the chimneysweepers pasta, because its supposed to be black with pepper, like the coal. And some latin translation of carbon means black.

@Lumix58 Lol! I've actually kinda started that too.. I'm not putting salt on anything longer.. because it's really bad for you (and most food contain salt already when you buy it), so I usually add some pepper instead!
