The next day. David(wakes up): Sel?
Selena(smiles with flowers in her hands): Hi.
David: What are you...
Selena: I chose you. David: You what? Selena: Yeah.
*She goes over and tries to kiss him.*
David(pulls away): Are you sure?
Selena: Yeah. Don't strain, David. You'll hurt yourself. David(smiles): I love you. I would never want to lose you.
Selena: Neither would I. I was just confused and tired, David.
David: And you think that we can be together forever.
Selena: Forever and ever and ever. David(smiles and kisses her): I've been waiting for this.
Cody(walks in): I guess you were just mad, and now you love her again?
David: I guess.
Selena: What?
David: Nothing. I'll be back soon, and maybe you'll come back to school here?
Selena(smiles): Maybe. I gotta go.
David: I'll see you soon?
Selena: Yeah. (she kisses him and leaves.)
*At home.*
Alex: Because it's not logical!
Nellie: To you! Everything's not logical! When I wanted to have kids, IT'S NOT FUCKING LOGICAL! When I wanted to get my own car, you thought I shouldn't since I wouldn't drive it anywhere!
Alex: The kids DON'T have to move to this hellhole.
Nellie: Hellhole? Are you SERIOUS? This place is a lot better than your crappy LAWN.
Selena(walks in and sees Erik and Angie at the top listening.) Let your anger out, guys...(she mutters.)
Selena grabs Erik and Angie and takes them out the back to Baskin Robbins.(spell?)
Selena: Mommy and Daddy love each other, okay? They're just fighting. Everyone fights, okay?
Angie(wide-eyed): OKAY!
Erik: I guess. Can we go home now?
Selena: Finish your ice cream.
*They finish, and they go home.*
After Selena tucks in Angie and Erik.
Selena: Mom, Dad?
Nellie(looks up from her book): Yeah?
Selena: You, too, Dad...
Alex(sighs and turns off the TV): Yeah.
Selena: You guys are just fighting all day. It's not right. I'm taking care of the kids that you wanted, my siblings! I'm not a maid.
Nellie: You're right. That's why it'd be much better if you came and lived here, instead of your father's house.
Selena: Mom, why don't we just look for a new house in Dad's area? Then we can all live happily. You guys can just be friends.
Nellie: We can't live in that area. All those houses are hellholes. If I have any say in this, we're all staying here.
