why overkill best way to stop plus they have been out for years most bikes come with them as standered but you must be still living in 70s old man
-
Good stuff, one thing tohugh it's good to have a small hose and catch bottle in the lever bleed hole to prevent fluid on the lever and to double check for air ules

what rear wheel are you using on this bike?

Thanks I just saved myself 80 bucks to get soemone else to do it.

but you cannot re-use the copper colored compression fitting

Thanks heaps for this video. You have removed the mystery of hydraulic brakes on bikes for me. I will now feel confident in bleeding them and replacing cables if necessary. Great stuff!!!

So they put hydraulics on bikes now but failed to incorporate a bleed screw. Brilliant. Let me guess next on the list is abs. The effects that heat have on disk and the stretching of cables must be enormous. Bravo to the very few that would actually get going fast enought o need this. Instead of making a better cable system or even a linkage system that would be better than both cable and hydraulic. Have the hydraulic at the wheel only and have linkage to it. Instead of a hose that can break.

Because air bubbles find it easier to travel upwards rather than being forced downwards. Therefore the old fashioned way of bleeding from top to bottom (as you have said about cars and motorcycles) means that you are fighting against the air all the time as every time you stop any air tries to float back up the system. Therefore if you can bleed from the bottom it is much easier to remove all of the air. This works with cars/bikes but dont push the pistons OUT of the calipers.

kiepsko to wygląda, ja tam wolę płyn hamulcowy aniżeli olej mineralny. A skrócenie trochę prymitywne się wydaje.

Why do you push the fluid up from the caliper instead of pushing it down from the master cylinder like a car or bike system.
do you need the small parts or can u just use the old ones?

As long as the old ones are still in good condition, it's okay.
