  • Is really as hard as it sounds? or is it just like a tumbao-esque pattern with your legs with some hand clave patterns? Is it just the pedals doing the work?

  • I'm playing the following:

    Left leg: A 3/2 Rhumba Clave ( 4 pedals )

    Right leg: A variation on a Cascara pattern ( 5 pedals )

    Left Hand: Basic Guaguanco Conga rhythm.

    Right hand: Mozambique Cowbell pattern moving between the cowbell and tom toms.
