  • When he is performing he is beautiful. Watching the interview that comes before this you see him talking with his lips barely moving, his manner is focused inward. Not in an insecure way, just as if talking were a secondary activity and he was otherwise (and more importantly) occupied.

The moment he picks up an instrument that changes. Instead of being focused inwards his presence moves outwards. The perfection in the sounds he makes with his mouth, the purity of voice seems effortless.

  • I have never seen Andrew Bird mistaken :D

But let's not forget about Jeremy, who is a charming man as well!

  • 2 people cannot whistle

  • Definitely search Brokenrecordsindieheadphones.blogspot.com into google if u like this!!!

  • thumbs if u like his bowl of fire years better..

  • my dream is to see andrew and ryan collaborate.

  • Having watched hours of his live performances, the one thing that will never cease to amaze me is his ability to multi-task with perfection.

Being a guitar player/singer who uses a lot of effects, I can attest to that simple task alone being a bit mind scrambling at times. To master this art on not one, but two instruments, then to sing and time the come-in on the violin loops with precision like that while playing guitar is one of the most impressive things I've ever witnessed.

  • so creative!!!!!! :D

  • ..i love the part at the end where he's standing there with his hands full of instruments, no doubt wrapped in wires, and he can't figure out which way to move..

  • A purely talented person. Outstanding.

His music and persona are certainly unique and his own. Still, when I close my eyes and listen I hear the ghost of Jeff Buckley.

    Amazing.

  • @nitakuma Furthermore, if you wouldn't marry him, regardless of your sex, there is something wrong with you...
