@EntranceDenied What a ridiculous leap of logic you're arguing. And did ChosonNinja change Ninja's history again? Where's Sayaka's theory now? Did the word 'Ninja' exist in China and Korea? What's the definition of Ninja? According to your logic, Ninja existed in almost every countries.
-
@BuffonSarutobi You can keep your word Ninja. Every country have their own shadow warrior. China and Korea as well. They just have different names. And last time I check, Japan still uses Kanji, which belongs to China. And guess what? Japanese learned Kanji from the Koreans. The writing system is one of many thing that your Koreans brothers shared with you. Still you go around spreading hate and separation. Your claim of others stealing Japanese culture is rather comical.

The Ninja in Korea story was made up by Greg Park AKA Chosonninja the Korean who wants to be Ninja but hate Japanese. Tokugawa hired a lot of Ninjas from Iga and Koka before and after Sekigahara. The Koreans are trying to Koreanize Ninja because of popularity of Ninja. Just like they are Koreanizing Wushu outside of East Asia.

Great video, always nice to see another fan of the miao dao. I've heard that modern practitioners of it are relatively rare outside of kung fu schools that didn't have a military man in their past at some point. Very interesting weapon, particularly with all the arguing about whether it was adopted from the wokou's katana/nodachi, or an evolution of the changdao, or both...
Ah. "Sword of the Stranger" music theme. An anime about a group Ming Dynasty warriors in Japan looking for the secret of immortality for the Ming Emperor. Very fitting indeed.
I was looking for some information on google about Ninja's/Shinobi's that was stuck in Korea after Japan retreated in 1598. After the death of Hideyoshi, Tokugawa didn't want Ninjas that was loyal to Hideyoshi back. He stranded them in Korea. Koreans incorporated their Ninjutsu.
Stumbled upon this, very cool.
