That car is as ugly as sin. It really has nothing in common with the Smokey and The Bandit Trans Am. Its not even T-Topped. And its roll caged. YUCK!

Yes, this car is a track ready machine and is a very different from the original Trans Am. The t-tops were omitted for safety on the race track.

@ls1killa I would assume it's because you get an updated package handling and horsepower-wise. you're not using leaf springs, you've got coilovers now, and you have at least double the horsepower of the stock '77 T/A (which puts out about 200 or so horsepower). Just watch the 'Gearz' review with Stacy David. what's more, I went on their website, and you have further options, like a 650hp 8.8L Pontiac V8.
