The SILENCE house (Simple Internationally-Livable, Economical, Naturally-Clean Ecosystem, a.k.a. the International Self-Contained Family Housing Unit), efficiently recycles EVERYTHING needed to live comfortably, merging interdisciplinary multi-national/cultural research from ancient to current cutting-edge technologies. These concepts are adaptable to anywhere and permit (as close as currently possible) the construction of zero impact suburban dwellings. This economical housing system (cheap to build and maintain) eliminates the dependence on a municipal grid (e.g. gas, water, electric, septic/sewer, trash, commercial produce and burdensome mortgages) providing clean energy and fresh recyclable water (we've used the same water fro twelve years... no wells). The uniquely constructed central foundation of the housing unit (an Ambient Environmental Regulator, a.k.a. a chimley) naturally maintains a constant, comfortable temperature (clothes optional), while also permitting the house to "float over" earthquakes and resist potentially devastating winds, to name but a few of its many time proven technological concepts available -- all freely given -- the goal being "nothing going in or out". We're getting very close!
