Theres hardly any videos/trailers out there about the original MG and MG2 since that was before games were promoted heavily in other kinds of media...plus there wouldn't be hardly anything in them to keep your attention for 10 min.

thats probably because metal gear solid's storyline starts chronologically in number 3. this video actually does quite a good job explaining, you just have to pay attention.
