The Twister Rollercoaster
One of the latest additions at Knoebels and the largest of Knoebels rollercoasters. Twister is a World class wooden roller coaster created from a modified 1964 design with Switchback lift hill folded on top of itself; curved brake run, curved station; in-ground tunnel.

Speed: 51mph, Height: 101ft, Drop: 89ft, Length: 3,900ft, Duration: 2:10, Type: Wooden twister, Rolling Stock: 2 PTC trains with 6 cars, seating 4 with 24 riders per train. Year Opened: 1999

@BubblyMermaids1 That depends on what kind of ride you like. The front definitely has a great view and you will feel a big push from the rear after you crest the tops of the hills. The rear on the other hand will whip you around and is definitely a great ride if you like air time (feeling weightless up out of your seat). I like the back personally for the best ride and to get the full effect of what the coaster can do.

Which do you think is better? Front, middle or alllll the way in the back? I usually ride in the 3rd or 4th seat lol I think I am going to try front seat this year. xD

i took a ride in this roller coaster when i was about 7 years old, with my sister. i was glad she was sitting next to me as i was falling out constantly. Being older now i'd really love to go back there :D Good times! thanks for brining up memories :)

This is the only roller coaster ride that made me want to throw up, but I always come back! :D Knoebels rocks!
