To Infinity and Beyond - Horizon - BBC
What is the biggest number? Is the universe infinite? How did the universe begin? Might every event repeat again and again and again and again... Is the Earth just one of uncountable copies, tumbling through an unending void? Your intuition is no use here. Faith alone can't save you.
Mathematicians have discovered there are infinitely many infinities, each one infinitely bigger than the last. And if the universe goes on forever, the consequences are even more bizarre. In an infinite universe, there are infinitely many copies of the Earth and infinitely many copies of you. Older than time, bigger than the universe and stranger than fiction. This is the story of infinity.
if you fly around the earth, when will the earth end? what we understand as humans, is but a grain of sand.

@UnconsciousDubstep 1 is the biggest number. 1 contains all numbers. Infinity isn't a number, but at the same time infinity contains everything and remains nothing. If infinity were a number, it'd appear to be 1 remaining as 0.

Infinity is probably the most thought provoking concept ever, forever, for eternity. Infinity is god, nothing provoking everything. The concept of self is probably the most limiting concept ever, forever, for eternity.

@UnconsciousDubstep Unless you use hexadecimal then the biggest is F, or octal then 7 is biggest.

42. I'm not kidding, it really IS the answer to life, the universe and everything, think it through.

I might fuck myself here. But isn't the universe OBVIOUSLY infinite? We have matter that creates more matter that creates more matter. Is this true, or am I wrong somewhere?
