  • How many people die from marijuana? none zero nobody . How many people are killed trying to control illegal sales of drugs ? THOUSANDS . seems the cure is worse than the disease .

  • Nothing will change as long as prohibition of Marijuana is in effect. Legalize Marijuana and it will take away all there power keep it going and its only going to get worse. Just look at what the mafia did back when alcohol was illegal, this is just history repeating itself.

  • @DeuceMP2 ...some ignorant attitudes over here, a sort of irrational hate for the U.S, and an intervention on your part most probably would be look down upon most of the population. I'm not entirely happy with some decisions U.S have made to shape it's wellfare above other countries. Like ours, but it's stupid to assume anyone else wouldn't have done the same in the situations the U.S have been. And it's pretty much fault of the higher orders of command, not it's people.

  • @DeuceMP2 I'm sure you didn't mean to look down our boys. Like I said before, this is a responsive strategy, that is, they attack? we attack! But to really stop or minimize it the solution has to reach the core of the problem: it's people. Quality education, and well payed jobs will deter criminal acts much more effectively than machineguns will. But as stated, we just can't sit in our asses so some force is necessary. And I'd love you guys to help out, but there is...

  • @chemoman1 Oh no doubt. I wasnt saying the U.S. Army is the solution to anything, I know the Mexican Army is very capable and brave and fight just as hard as the cartels if not more. I wasnt trying to put down the Mexican army because I know what they're up against. I was just saying, a combined U.S./Mexican army operation would be deadly for the cartels. I'm all about the Mexican troops and police willing to fight to defeat these asshole cartels. Thanks for your comment.

  • @casinohijack Indeed. That's my point.

  • @chemoman1 "You cant expect a unintelligent person to make a intelligent decision".

  • @casinohijack No, i do not deny they fight for getting marihuana and other drugs to the US. But i'm saying simply legalizing it won't be that much effective. If my goverment focused on giving quality education AND then legalizing, we would have a chance of people realizing "Hey, this shit kills me, I no going to consume it". As it is now and the way my society is educated, it would turn into an even uglier mess. I mean alcohol is one of the number one causes of death in my country.

  • @chemoman1 Are you denying that they are fighting to get marijuana into mexico? And no i do not think it will turn into disneyland if pot becomes legal but it will take away a huge chunk of cash from both sides which will lower crime in America and Mexico. If the cops were going after carjackers and kidnappers instead of writing tickets things might look different. On the other hand the US makes money off the War on Drugs so our government may be the problem.

  • @DeuceMP2 Look, we all now the US army is very capable, but it is in no way the solution because, our army actually already does what you cite. If you see news on shootouts on cartel members and the amry, it is usually "8 gunmen down,1 wounded soldier". They are unafraid of them, they have superior training and fitness, and maul them badly as well. Force has not been the best solution for the problem so far.

  • @casinohijack Because it's just marihuana that they deal with right? And because these shitbags will suddenly become stable, honest, members of society with legalization right? And because they don't also kidnap, carjack, steal and do other criminal activities for profits right? Your answer is too simple and shortsighted.

  • I can't believe that you marijuana users have THE NERVE to say legalizing is the solution. YOU ARE THE DEMAND. MEXICO IS THE SUPPLY. AS LONG AS YOU SMOKE WEED, PEOPLE WILL DIE TO GET THAT WEED TO YOU!
