In defense of the company that gives me a paycheck... HOM quality doesn't suck. HOM is a retailer, not a manufacturer, so it's possible the quality of the manufacturer is poor but we try to avoid that too by choosing who we work with. If you have issues with your furniture within warranty, HOM will fix it, get you a new one, or let you pick something else. If people are unhappy its usually because they expect HOM to pick up the cost when a product is out of warranty or they damage it themselves.

That is hilarious. I work at the HOM Corporate office, same location as this video was shot. When I tell people I work there everyone tells me they always go in for free cookies. I think it's great. I figure if 100 people go in for free cookies and one person makes a purchse they hadn't planned on then those 200 cookies are paid for and more (they can't cost us more than a nickel a piece).
