This song reminds me of my grandma. She died just over 3 years ago, after losing a two year battle with cancer. I took care of her a lot through all of her treatment, and it really brought us closer. She was always my best friend growing up, and I was closer to her than I am to my mom. I was with her on "the night she left" and I have no regrets. </3

I think I just found my new favourite Gary Allan song. It reminds me both of a love I lost way too young, and my daughter. This just touched me in a way I've never had a song do before. Thank you Gary, thank you for an amazing song.
