It's funny because he says how she's become kind of gray, but swans aren't exactly colorful by themselves.

Such an under appreciated band....lost in the whole stones and beatles tidalwave with the irony being that they were at least as good.
-
@MrShupe Imagine the Swan was not on the original release of O&O,and for a good reason, since only 2/5 of the band was active in the production.

Awesome song. Awesome album. Only weak point is "Time of the Season," and that's only because I have heard it so many times.

@adambell666 Actually, I don't ever remember hearing this tune, back in the day.I only have one album, so I guess I am more familiar with the pop hits these guys had out. This is a very nice tune. Unless I was so stoned at the time, I heard it and didn't like it at the time. Funny how years change your taste in music. For the record, Rod Argent was the keyboard player in the Zombies, and went on to found Argent.(Hold Your Head Up) But you probably knew that.. Long live The Zombies.

he doesn't say "and stay in my room", he says "and it's there in my room".

I get the feeling Freddie and the boys from Queen heard this especially at 1:24.

so good... will we ever have truthful pop/tuneful music ever again? no statements or subcultural statements. just undeniably good music. no one can say this song is poor...
