I just read the info on the mustang.. So it has an aftermarket tranny? I know they come with 5 speeds.

The Challenger is heavier and I know the automatic transmissions in that car suck however i cant tell if its auto or manual because I was too distracted from the one wheel peel in the waterbox SRT8 produced.

@bigbird06gt then by your logic the srt8 should have won. if it weighed the same as a factory stang and has more horsepower then it should have won

the dodge is a lead sled. just cause it has 425hp that doesn't help the fact that it weighs over 4000 lbs, even stripped it probably still weighs about the same as a factory stang

srt8 should outrun a gt 425 hp vs 315 - 320 hp . the gt will outrun the 345 hp challenger ; saw this happen in a grudge race at the track . best 2 of 3 it only took 2 . the gt owner won $200.00 . both bone stock except drag radials on both . both own 9 sec drag cars 1/4 mile .

This is a STRIPPED SRT8, one seat, even sheet aluminum where sunroof was... 3800lbs SRT8... 90mm Arrington tB, arrington custom tune, Warhammer CAI (yes, one of the prototypes).
