If a company innovates a product which lets doctor do a service that competes with a controlled sectors, they even set the reimbursement rate for the new in-office procedure SO LOW that doctors lose money if they offer it, and the company that produced the product... goes out of business, product dissapears completely. Check the reimbursement schedule. If state politicians would allow citizens buy from any company they want in country, the insurance co in your state would NOT have 90% of market

By fixing price, they control which medical service centers have huge profits, and which services don't. By controlling who can open, own or operate major services with regs and CON laws, they can minimize competition in the highest reimbursement areas! Americans pay more for healthcare than ever before, yet for some reason doctors are going out of business? They set the reimbursement rates to political tied hospitals/services VERY HIGH, anything else, including doctors, gets the minimum.

Politicians also control which insurance cos operate in their state, and which CANT, politicians control where every state citizen must buy insurance... by forbidding state citizens to buy outside the state. Politicians also control who can own or operate any major medical service center that competes in any way with hospital, and they use this power to eliminate the competition in any sector they want. Its a disastrous money funneling scheme of the worst kind.

Was the antitrust exemption removed? NO. Why not? Heres why,.. its not the insurance cos fixing prices, its state politicians, who write the medicare reimbursement schedule, which fixes price level of every single healthcare product, drug, procedure, utensil, clips to remove splinters. Insurance cos MUST follow the Medicare Reimbursement Rate which state politicians set (plus a lil extra) in order to participate in the billion dollar industry, in the state, as a virtual monopoly, protected.
