Ugandas first lady Hon. Mrs Janet Kataha Museveni was on Saturday September 5th, invited by Dr. Ben Abe as one of the panelists to discuss the reconstruction and development of the Northern Uganda after the end of the war. And after some intense diplomatic lobbying the event did take place in a smaller room that was overly packed by UNAA members who came to listen in and to ask the First lady their burning questions.
Shame on you whoever put this video on youtube! How can a so called UNAA TIMES TV for Ugandans record such a poor video using un professional camera man and you put it on youtube? Is it showing us how primitive you are in the US?

please do ugandans a favor and kindly ask your husband to step aside in the name of allowing Uganda's democracy to germinate. please think about the future that we will have in uganda when you and your husband become history... why should blood be shed on your and your husband's behalf? please please!

There is only one thing that puzzles me about this woman Janet Museveni. The way she manages to keep a very clean 'public image' while at the same time engaging in so many corruption scandals. This puzzle must be the 8th wonder of the world!. Very mysterious.
What does she mean by young people not understanding? Does she mean that it's only the elderly and senile who ultimately know everything?

The effrontery of the woman! As if people "don't understand" that it is undesirable to live under the circumstances of intimidation, where the denial of rights of free speech and assembly are routine, where corruption thrives and is perpetrated at the highest levels of the state. Daft bint! She'll soon "understand" come 2011, should she and that husband of hers attempt to disenfranchise Uganda's people at the polls. Buganda has given her a taster of things to come.
