Religion is the real reason this family was crazy like this. Really. I bet if you spoke to Robert DeFeo you would hear him say, "The Devil made him do it" or "God told me to do it." Religion is all behind his ass going crazy like that. Read the bible over and over again and it will make you go crazy too. Lol. Religious freaks always freak out and blame it on God and Jesus...Where was Jesus when the DeFeo kids needed him to protect them from getting shot in their sleep? It's just not real.

( Continued ) And most abusive people wont abuse their victim in public they wait till their behind closed doors ( like the cowards they really are ) to keep outsiders from interfering and trying to take control over their victim away from them .

This guy is like he was a strict but very religious man " I never seen him raise his hand " and I'm thinking ... Umm, just because he was a religious man doesn't mean he wasn't an abusive religious man, I've seen and heard of plenty of religious parents that dont see anything wrong with slapping their child down a flight of stairs and they just look at it as normal discipline and NOT abuse ,they believe in the " if you spare the Rod you spoil the child " kind of teachings.
