Ben Manski, executive director of Liberty Tree along with Lisa Graves, executive director of the Center for Media and Democracy, spoke to the March to Overrule the Court, at the Wisconsin State Capitol on Tuesday, February 16th. The demonstration was organized in coordination with MovetoAmend.org and the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign.

Let's not just move to amend, let's move to make a positive amendment as advocated by the Network of Spiritual Progressives: that corporations be required to renew their charters every 10 years, depending on a people's jury rating them for their social and environmental records. No renewal of corporate charter without agreement of the people that they are socially and environmentally responsible!

Boycott the corporations. They are nothing without the money. STOP buying at Walmarts and all other corps. Just stop buying all their crap. This is a more powerful way to stand up against them and a lot smarter than fighting on the streets. Demonstration is good too but watch out for violence infiltrated into the crowds.

Maybe the Federal Level is a lost cause? It might be more effective to focus on the state and regional level bolstering an independence from the federal government and connect the dots across the country this way. Farfetched? Perhaps. Your up against one giant corporation called the U.S.federal government though. The gigantic size of the U.S. is working against us and is working in the corporations favor.
