Give me peace, The Peace tree planting, Maribor, Slovenija, 20th 21st May 2009

His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamadaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda (Swamiji), the Ambassador of Peace and the author of the Yoga in Daily Life system, and Mr. Franc Kangler, the Mayor of the City Municipality of Maribor, planted a peace tree in the city park of Maribor.
The Peace tree planting was a part of the 2-day event Give me peace which aim was to stimulate and join endeavours for peace - for peace in humans, for peace among people, for peace among all living beings, for peace in the world.
The event was organized by the Yoga in Daily Life Society of Maribor under the patronage of the City on an entirely voluntary basis with the cooperation of different organizations, societies, schools and individuals.
Nature is based upon peace, upon living
together. We, humans are those who actively and
more or less consciously interfere in all things
and we preserve or destroy peace.
