i heard a couple of years later that, when everybody left the stage they forgot to bring stevie wonder, dude was up there for about 15 min before one of the members from dru hill came to get him

@Wreckoftheday210 i agree with history being skewed but the fact purely on black cowboys are irreverent giving reason to a skewed point of view, very few black rebels in that time(you can count on one hand) in comparison to jesse james etc.

Love this song but I remember watching this performance that night it first aired and thinking that Stevie Wonder really saved Will's ass. IMHO Will wasn't in particularly good voice that night and the choreography was a total mess. But once that curtain parted and Stevie rolled out all was forgiven as the roof blew off the joint.

@Wreckoftheday210 Cowboys were originally from Mexico. But then after the British Invasion and people coming from other black colonies, they did have a mixture of cowboys. And you're right about there being Black cowboys.

Uhmmm... if you had been paying attention in American History Class, you'd know that black cowboys were actually quite common. Just because all of the "classic" cowboy movies were about white men, does not mean that there were no black cowboys... it just means that Hollywood gives a very skewed view on history. A simple google search would help you sound less racist.

I personally being from this time in music enjoyed the video and being from Maryland where Dru Hill and Sisco are from loved it. And for individual who made a comment about African American's being dressed in cowboy suits please check your history books to see who were the oringinal cowboys and we wear the cusoms very well. I love Will Smith and all his movies and videos.
