21 janvier 1952 Le titre "Petite Fleur", composé par Sidney Bechet est enregistré à Paris par sa formation : le Sidney Bechet All Stars. Bechet s'est en effet installé en France en 1949 où il jouit d'un succès énorme, succès à l'image de ce véritable « tube » qu'est « Petite Fleur » à travers le monde.
J'ai trouvé l'information ci-dessus sur internet et j'apprends ainsi que ce morceau a été enregistré le jour de ma naissance !
C'est la troisième version de petite fleur que je mets sur youtube, ce ne sera pas la dernière. Celle-ci est jouée avec ma clarinette Noblet, Bec B45 anche MH Lavoz.
La partition provient du Vol 1 de Clarinet Plus d'Arturo Himmer, je brode un peu sur certains passages mais dans l'ensemble je reste au plus près de la partition.
