That's not electro-funk. That's cool, weird disco music made by a French producer/drummer/singer/songwr iter called Cerrone (as you can see above). They used a lot of synths and sequencers, that's all, but most of their music were real chops.

I know, it isn't easy to give a precise name for this genre, but for me moroderian analogies are easily recognizable! Not all the tracks of the list are indeed so similar to Supernature sound, but it's also true that "funky sound" isn't so far from it!

Come to think of it, you're right. Cerrone and Moroder do have a lot in common and their music did have both electronic and funky elements as early as 1977 or so. They were pioneers and their stuff keeps echoing into modern pop / dance music.

His Cerrone IV "Je Suis Musique" album is also worth checking! Plus I used to have this 12" vynil with a Diana Ross song, Lovin', Livin' and Givin', that sounded amazing, because there was only one song on each side. On Supernature there were 2 on one side and 3 on the other, if I'm not wrong. they were really going for that lush, bold sound and it was so cool.

You're welcome ; ) If you like electrofunk you can try (more recent) Superdiscount, Etienne de Crecy or Alex Gopher...

I listened the artists you recommended.. nice music, really, but i'm looking for the classics of this kind, and in this sense i found Exalt Exalt of Azoto. Do u know it? It's a very space funk!! If you know some classics more you are welcome!! Anyhow Thank you!! You've been very kind to reply!

"Exault Exault" by Azoto was one of my nightly plays when I used to spin for a living.

Some other 70s disco classics in this vein to check are:

Giorgio - From Here To Eternity (1977)

Space - Carry On Turn Me On (1977) (which has the same bassline as Supernature)

Arpeggio - Love & Desire (1978)

Laser - His Name Is Charley (1979)

Alec R Costandinos (released as "Sumeria" in some countries) - Golden Tears (1977)

Tantra - Hills Of Katmandu (1979)
