First of all, this doesn't make sense. What are you trying to say? That Alice Cooper and Cher are better (I'm assuming that "roles" is a typo for "rules") than Carly Simon? That's fair, you're entitled to your own opinion. But considering this is the second time you comment on this video, I think Carly Simon must be doing something right.

How sad. She must have been wondering what the fuck she was doing there. It makes sad to see this great artist treated like a trained dog. Fuck Starbucks. They disbanded the label anyway. I bet Carly doesn't do this again. To have to subject herself to the riff raff hooping and hollering in the background. And in Miami? What a trashy place. The least they could have done would have been to have wheeled her out in Atlantic City or Toledo or some other equally crappy place

Yeah - Carly is SUING Starbucks for not properly promoting her album - and I hope she wins big. This is SO disheartening to see - because she is one of the greats of all time and it just reinforces how sick the music business is -- YIKES>

Carly is one of those famous people that can still make public appearances and do things like this as well as go places without a swarm of people and cameras in her face. In other words, she isn't too famous like Mick Jagger or Elton John who have to have security people virtually everywhere they go.

@majorcynic don't get me wrong, I have LOVED Carly..she was my best form of therapy as a kid, but her voice is awful....she's not even singing the melody of her own song..and gravoling.. I have to simply say, no wonder Starbucks didn't promote this..their stock price would surely drop based on our dear Mz. Simon...
