Do Westerners in general have such low esteem that any idea of offering wisdom or help from their our culture must automatically be met with skepticism and criticism?
Why is the idea that the West has something to help so threatening... to those in the West.
"Population pressures" are what food relief solves. Love how culture of death people always want to change the subject from life-giving help to ways they can provide death.
of course the locals know better how to farm their own land, though they probably lack fertilizer, machinery, pesticides, and seeds, which the foreigners may or may not bring and teach them about. if population pressures did not force them to, african agriculture could be perfectly sustainable - but does the ship of mercy also support family planning programs and contraception?
I find it a perpetual curiosity that experts from temperate latitudes - a horticultural world utterly unlike the tropical one, would know more about sustainability than the natives. Where are the native traditionalists?
