  • @anonymouslolxD True it is. One of the thing Ritchie remembers being told by Big Jim goes somewhat lijke this......'Any guitar player can repeat any guitar solo like a parrot, but only the great one can come up with his own (great) solo'. So Ritchie kept this in mind and fullfil hiq teacher's advise.......

  • @anonymouslolxD certo ke si....!!!!!!!!

  • my late brother was resident animal keeper ( tigers and gorillas ) to Gordon Mills, who managed Tom Jones and others. Terence's flat was over the recording studio at Gordon's home in Weybridge so he met a lot of musicians. Big Jim was always his favourate. Gilbert O'Sullivan would wander in and play with the children rather than work. I have an LP issued in Big Jim's name, did he make many ?

  • One of the best all rounded musicians in the world. I wish i could meet him

  • I believe Ritchie Blackmore lived around the block from Big Jim, and Ritchie's older brother dated Big Jim's sister.Ritchie would go to Big Jim's house and ask Big Jim to teach him some new stuff.Ritchie credits Big Jim with teaching him a technique that enabled him to play with increased speed.

  • Is it true he taught Ritchie Blackmore?

  • Jim is one of the most underrated guitarists in the world. He's played session on over 1,000 top 40 hits, 42 number 1s. He's played with Elvis, BB King, Tom as you say and countless others. Forget Clepton et al - Jim is the best.

  • That is one beautiful guitar; what is it?
