Natural Hair Style, Formal Black Tie Affair -- Near Disaster!!

Hey youtube!! I recently went to a black tie event (pics at the end) and I wanted to do something different to my natural hair. I wanted to curl my hair with flexi rods, even though I had never done it before. Generally I only do styles that I have done before when I have somewhere special to go, but this time I REALLY wanted curls!

I haven't curled or straightened my hair since I've been natural, so I was excited. It didn't turn out at all how I expected and I had a few mishaps! But at the end of the day it worked out! Hope you like the video! -

very nice. maybe try pulling the curler things straight down instead of " unrolling them" that will affect the pattern.

beautiful....mine didnt come out half as nice..i am starting to think that i will have to sit under the dryer for them to look good because the couple times i have tried them, i just slept in them..no comfortable and in the morning not cute :(
