UntamedScience.com presents an overview of how Karl Stanley built his deep diving submarine Idabel.
Located on the Caribbean beach of Half Moon Bay in West End, Roatan, Honduras, Idabel is the deepest diving tourist submarine in the world, reaching depths down to 2500ft/760m. Amazingly, captain Karl Stanley built the entire vehicle himself without any formal training in submarine construction. Let's go diving!
I got to go down in the original CBUG!!! Karl and I went down below the continental shelf off of Fort Lauderdale. I have some great pics of it!!

@davetileguy I think he sold it or gave it away and they sank it as a reef or diving attraction.
