READ FIRST:

(WATCH THE FIRST TWO EPISODES OR YOU PROBABLY WON'T GET IT!)

So this episode begins with a flashback (Greyscale) to the party from the previous episode. BROOKE is talking to BLAIR and tells BLAIR to find out what is up with CHUCK (who is leading JENNY off to seduce her as per BROOKE'S dare, she was testing him to see if he would). The next morning CHUCK wakes up NATE and they talk about BROOKE.

Later at school BLAIR uses her charm to get NATE to spill the beans on his bet with CHUCK and CHUCK overhears. CHUCK gets nervous but when he sees BROOKE talking to PEYTON (and LUCAS) he realizes she doesn't know anything yet. BLAIR confronts CHUCK and threatens to tell BROOKE but CHUCK tells her not to and says he isn't going to hurt her.

CHUCK goes to a club to see BROOKE and decides that he'll seduce her, but is stunned when he learns BROOKE isn't as dumb or easy as he originally thought. He at one point makes a comment that he didn't know BROOKE was so naughty (using fake ID's) and BROOKE responds "Yeah well there's a lot you don't know about me." which intrigues CHUCK.

The next day BROOKE goes to see CHUCK because she's feeling kind of crappy. She talks about how her mom (who doesn't give a damn about her) has been ignoring BROOKE and how she doesn't know if them making out the night before was a good thing.

NATE doesn't believe CHUCK when he tells that he made out with BROOKE so CHUCK tells NATE about the tatoo BROOKE has.

Meanwhile BROOKE's Mom Victoria comes and tells BROOKE that she is a bad daughter and that BROOKE shouldn't be working with Eleanor Waldorf to become a fashion designer, she should just marry a rich guy instead. BROOKE gets upset and calls CHUCK who goes to confront Victoria.

Victoria demands to know why its CHUCK's business how she behaves to her own daughter and when CHUCK gets upset Victoria says "Surely you don't think you're good enough for Brooke." (Because Victoria knows about Chuck's reputation), CHUCK leaves and Victoria is left standing there.

SIDENOTE- I was really sick of seeing Chuck as the bad guy all the time so at the end of this he is sort of a hero. This is a turning point in the series.
