YAI and the Yankees Bring Hope Together!

Melvin Williams and Ranjit Seal, two participants from YAI's Employment Initiatives Program, were given an amazing opportunity by the New York Yankees! The Yankees concluded HOPE (Helping Others Persevere and Excel) Week by having CC Sabathia, Johnny Damon and Nick Swisher surprise the guys and help them with their jobs for the day at the Manhattan law firm of Ahmuty, Demers & McManus. The duo was made guests of honor at a Yankees game, where they personally delivered the mail to each member of the team, including Alex Rodriguez!

It's Stuff like this that makes me love the Yankees even more. I agree with Nick Swisher ppl should reach out more. Those boys are awesome and I'm glad to see the. Yankees realize it.

What a great thing to do.

It was very uplifting. Nice to see the Yankees as regular guys interacting with employees at what looks like a great place to work. kudos to the law firm that hired them Ahmuty Demers & McManus.
