From seedlings through vegging - switched to 12/12 on June 9. This is simply a collection of my photos I took for record keeping; maintaining a text journal with photos helps to look back at successes and mistakes to enable a great learning experience and apply those lessons next time around.

  • i mean no disrespect by this joke................................It looks like the grim reaper tried to grow pot and kept touching the leaves!!!!!! just keep at it ....it can only get better, trust me!! try and shoot for a gram per watt of light...have a gram isnt too bad either

  • @supadan13 Yeah, it was from bagseed too... from brick, at that. Didn't want to spend precious money on seeds till I got a little growing down first.

No more hydro for me. Too much work and heavy lifting, etc. Coco coir works best for me. I also ditched GH nutes for Jack's Classic; haven't had nute burn since.

I generally closer to half a gram per watt, mostly because I usually can't physically keep up with more plants in my grow room, so I've got more room for lights than I use. :)

  • @supadan13 Oh yeah, and I also stopped using the huge amount of nutrients that a lot of other growers use and tell others to use. Instead I usually go no higher than half of the "recommended" doses, be the recommendation made by (many) other growers or the manufacturers. My plants instantly got a LOT happier! So many people use WAY too many nutrients, and unfortunately that means that anyone learning from them (i.e., via forum posts) end up "learning" it wrong.

  • how did u change your lights to 12-12 in the aerogarden there only set up to run 18-6 and ur neutrients were way to strong man but good luck

  • @broD0884 Instead of the electrical chord provided, I plug a "figure 8" chord from the light hood directly into a timer, bypassing the hydro portion of the unit.

I only use my AG for the light hood now, when I want to have a small separate area for seedlings, rooting clones, or a male I want to mature and use for pollination. The hydro unit hasn't been used for close to two years now, though I still have it just in case I decide to use it again.

  • poor lil plants i can tell this person duznt know how to grow, its harder than you think people

  • @acerv36 Some comments make it all too obvious that some viewers don't bother to read video titles or descriptions. Check the upload date, while you're at it.

Botany is indeed harder than most people would think. So is raising kids, but with a little time and practice I learned how to do that, as well. And I wasn't too shabby at it, either.

  • holy shit. started out rough with all that over/under nuting your plant looks like a nitrogen deficiency
