Great tune, and it is nice to hear people's stories and remembrances of it. I have my own and I'm older that all of the previous posters. Arrrrrrg....60 in a couple of months! Reminds me of my childhood sweetheart because we used to listen to it. She has been gone more than 4 years now. Time flies, but we can all get into this time machine and go back for a while, which is really cool...

RIP Dennis - Grew up listening to this on AM radio - Then I was a huge ARS fan in th 70s - Timeless and haunting song - in 50 years people will be listening to it -

Another quality hit from a time when singers didn't have to have perfect teeth and looks but had ten times the soul of the prepackaged pop stars of today. May we never forget Dennis Yost.
