I chose Detroit as my team in 1995 because I loved the way they played. Best choice I have ever made. I am no bandwagoneer, and I live in Utah. GO WINGS! 22 home in a row tonight!

When people have to talk about the city itself, it means that's all they have. It means they know the Wings are a great team but they don't want to admit it, so all they have to throw in our faces is to talk about the city itself

CoreyPerrySucks @Billsteer99- you obviously know nothing about hockey yes Montreal and Toronto have more cups, but that was way back when the cup was a lot easier to win. It's a lot harder to win the cup now a days. The Wings have been the most consistent team over the past 2 decades. The wings went to the finals in 08 and 09. Won in 08. They have won 4 cups since 97 which is the most by any other team. You should get your facts right before you come on here and talk

@BillSteer99 I live in Warren, Michigan (which borders Detroit from the north). So no, I'm not a "bandwagoner". And I'm not surprised people do that in Phoenix, seeing as people tend to like teams that win. So ill just sit back and let Stanley do the talking.

@WWT54 Are you one of those redwing bandwagoners that live in Phoenix? Do you go to coyotes games wearing your redwings jersey along with 75% of the rest of the crowd? BANDWAGONER.
-
@snowyswag Montreal 93 and Toronto 67 to answer your question... Still doesn't change the fact that they have more cup wins than the redwings.

@BillSteer99 We went to the Stanley Cup last in 2009 and won in 2008, when was the last time Montreal and Toronto went to a stanley cup?
@habsking100 11 stanley cups, that's why

11 Stanley Cups (3rd most by any team, and most by any american team)
51 Hall of famers (2nd only to Montreal....and not including future hall member Nick Lidstrom)
20 Straight playoff appearances (made it every year since 1991)
Let that speak for itself...Montreal and Toronto have more history, yes! But when it comes to America, Detroit is HOCKEYTOWN!
