It's songs like this that just let my mind fucking go wild. In a way I wish they would have made videos for all the songs off of RAGE, but in another way I'm glad they didn't because this allows me to go so many different places each time I listen to them. This may seem kinda out there.. but they saved my miserable life. Their music was so advanced that it was able to let my mind grab it and RUN. I was able to run away from so much with this. It was a way of escaping an institution.

One of the most underrated albums of ALL TIME!!
The eclectic combo of industrial feel and neo metal (for lack of a better word) made this album so unique. I was 18 when I first heard this masterpiece and I was floored by it power. It was definitely ahead of its time and was a complete departure from 80s metal. This is also an album you MUST listen to while high.

I wonder if Dream Theater would have even got started, if it were not for the mighty Reich breaking down the barriers for them?....

in '86 I totalled a 240z running from the cops listening to this full blast. a tire came off the rim when I hit a dip going around a corner at about 70, car did a 360 and straightened out just in time to get a glimpse of the rear bumper of the parked car I hit at about 60. Walked away with a badly cut lip and that was it. I had nearly lost the cop too. This song always made me go fast!

...Helter Skelter...!

@TheeFinchLynch Agreed.. Faith no more is my all time fav band but this album (yes, i said album) was (and still is) the SHIT!
-
@TheeFinchLynch totally agree. Then it became not only accepted but expected. I remember when Maiden did it on 7th Son - which became my favorite Maiden album, but there were a lot of diehards calling them sellouts... crazy

Incredible song. I always seemed to prefer The Warning over Rage for Order though. Roads To Madness is just a fun rollercoaster of a song.
-
Love it...A Wonderfull time in my life....

@Ninitos1 English isn't my primary language, so I've been confused on that. Thanks.
This is the best of the underrated Queensryche songs. Absolutely incredible.

Not sure people realize how far ahead of its time this album was. This was '86. I was 15 and loved it. Queensryche got a bunch of shit for using "keyboards" (the kiss of death in metal back then). The keys and the samples made this unique. They took the hit and made it safe to like other keyboard bands (like faith no more - who were also abused).
They should be recognized as pioneers at the very least.
